Where Dions Began

Dion's was born from a simple idea: serve the people of Albuquerque food that feels like home. In 1980, a single location on Wyoming Blvd became the starting point for what would grow into one of New Mexico's most beloved dions pizza and sandwich destinations.

1980

The First Location Opens

Dion's opens its first restaurant on Wyoming Blvd in Albuquerque, NM, serving handcrafted pizza and sandwiches to a hungry neighborhood.

1988

Expanding Across Albuquerque

Growing demand leads dions to open three additional locations across the city, each maintaining the same scratch-made recipes that built the brand.

1997

Catering Program Launches

Dion's catering service is introduced, bringing dion's pizza and fresh salads to offices, events, and celebrations throughout New Mexico.

2005

Community Award Recognition

Dions receives the Albuquerque Business of the Year award, recognizing our investment in local suppliers, school partnerships, and neighborhood programs.

2014

Online Ordering Introduced
